The second Saturday of every month, from 11 to 3 pm,  Homestretch Greyhounds, holds a meet and greet at our store. Come meet these gentle animals and consider adoption.

Did You Know?

Periodontal disease is the most common health problem in pet dogs and cats. If left untreated, excessive bacteria not only leads to tooth decay and loss, but can put your pet's organs, including heart and kidneys at risk. It's never too late to start brushing your pet's teeth using a toothbrush and toothpaste created especially for her/him. Also, ask Pet Barn about scheduling a professional anesthesia-free teeth cleaning session.

Specializing in natural and holistic pet supplies!

Independently owned and operated since 2000, Ventura Pet Barn specializes in carrying only natural and holistic pet supplies. None of the foods we carry contain any corn, gluten, by-products, or chemical preservatives. We also offer a large selection of grain-free and raw diets.

In addition to our wholesome foods, we offer preventative care such as anesthesia-free teeth cleaning.

Samara Iodice, founder of the new Ventura photography studio, See Spot Pose, has launched her business with the philanthropic endeavor to find permanent homes for canines housed in foster homes and shelters throughout Ventura County, by sponsoring and photographing the “Myths and Months of Spay and Neuter” 2012 wall calendar. The calendar features local adoptable dogs available through the Ventura County-based Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL) - an organization that holds pet adoptions at our store every Saturday and Sunday.
